Lotus has always found herself immersed in both the technical and creative aspects of life, and when she discovered Shibari rope bondage, she delighted in finding a medium that melded those two fields in such a unique way.  Lotus identifies more with the bottoming aspects of rope and BDSM, but never content to only see and do one side of the equation, she occasionally can be found topping or self-tying.

The expressiveness of the rope medium reinvigorated Lotus’ passion for creating artistic photography using elements of BDSM to capture raw emotion and energy exchanged between top and bottom.  Lotus enjoys using elements of BDSM to celebrate the human form, as models push against their limits of strength, endurance, and flexibility, allowing themselves to suffer, be exposed, and show vulnerability for their partners.
