Secondfloor Lotus Studio began producing Shibari videos after realizing that there are times when still images alone aren’t enough to give the viewer the full sense of the movement & intensity of a bondage scene. Thorough the video medium, we are to better demonstrate the nuance of Shibari/Kinbaku and power exchange. A short video can share so much more context with the viewer than photography alone can do. Using elements of cinema, we are better able to convey the tone and mood of a scene. Showing how top and bottom react to one another, we can give the viewer much more of a sense of what it feels like to be them.
The videos we capture are real BDSM scenes, and real interactions between rigger and model and we hope that authenticity shows through.
